Hints For Writing A Thank God I…® … Story

A Thank God I…® story is a true, heartfelt, story of transformation, growth, and evolution.  It’s about honoring what is “as it is” rather than expecting it would be 'better' some other way.  It’s about “The Perfect Idea™” and finding the perfection that exists in even your greatest life challenges.  It’s about gratitude - not only for the things that “feel good” and give us pleasure - but also for the things that weren't so easy to swallow.  The result of your “Thank God I…® … moment” is a personal growth - or evolution - to a place of true love and inspiration...combined with the dissolving of fear, guilt, and judgement.

FORMAT

-Please keep your story to 3 parts –
1. The challenge.  Be specific. What was the challenge and what were you experiencing emotionally?
2. The turning point. This is about your transformation and seeing the 'perfection' that exists.  This is where you honor both sides and don’t hold judgement.
3. What are you grateful for as a result. Who are you now? What’s changed? What has come into your life as a result?

For your initial submission be clear and to the point.

If there is a fit for an upcoming publication you will be contacted for a brief interview and asked to submit a more complete story for final review.  Stories that are accepted for publishing are roughly 1500 words. All accepted contributors work with a trained Thank God I…® story coach, as well as a trained Thank God I…® editor.

BIO

If chosen for publishing you will have a chance to create a more complete and "professional" Bio for your Thank God I…® book; but for now we just want to know a little more about what makes you tick. What are your goals? What inspires you about the Thank God I…® message? What do you do for work? What would you most LOVE to create in the world? Etc… In order for us to thoroughly review your application, you must go to our Thank God I…® Social Community Of Inspiration & Gratitude and create an account and profile. Your profile should include - at minimum - your basic bio and a summary of your Thank God I…® story. You can also take advantage of this opportunity to build your social authority, branding, and reach by becoming active with our other Thank God I…® authors, followers, students, and fans within the community through the blog, forum, video, gallery, groups, events, and classifieds features.

Due to the volume of submissions and strict publishing deadlines we ask that you please be patient. If you don't hear from us right away, it doesn’t mean there isn’t an interest in your story. We do our best to maintain a strict publishing schedule. However, it may take up to 4 years for some publications to be completed.  If you are selected you will be contacted for a brief interview and given further submission instructions. All contributors receive a standard publishing contract and copies of the book their in for promotion and resale.
