People ask me: Are you a philosopher, an artist, musician, a poet, or an inspirational speaker? I believe a philosopher seeks to understand "what is" and an artist expresses what they discover. My life is dedicated to researching and experiencing this universe - sharing with others what I find in this quest so that we all may understand and evolve our human condition. Sometimes I write it, sometimes I speak it, sometimes I fight it, and sometimes I sing it. I keep the "boxes" for my shoes. -John Castagnini

For about two decades, John Castagnini - Founder and CEO of Thank God I…® - has spent his days and nights delving deep beneath the mysteries masking universal law. He discovered not only time tested universal truths, but also techniques - and several modes of inspired expression - to share with humanity. His books and poems, dynamic group presentations, and his music are all paths through which he shares inspiration and genius.
In his quest for knowledge, John studied great minds who had already contemplated life's deep questions. He felt it was important for him to study the works of Plato, Einstein, Kant, Newton, Mozart, Aristotle, Socrates, Jung, Marx, Christ, Buddha, Faraday, Milton, Maxwell, Spinoza, Locke and Freud—to name a few. In turn, he attracted great friends who shared priceless wisdom. John discovered that most of the deeper questions in life have answers: "If we are willing to do the work and sort past our myths, we can come to understand."
In college, John achieved a B.A. in Biology, went to Chiropractic school, then studied with monks from India, and finally trained with leading martial arts masters. From there, he worked with the world-renowned speaker, Dr. John Demartini. In this capacity, John held seminars with Demartini and others—such as Dr. Wayne Dyer. In the process of studying for thousands of hours, John authored several books and shared at seminars around the world.
Through this study and throughout the years of his professional career assisting hundreds - if not thousands - of people who were dealing with a cornucopia of issues, John recognized a single overwhelming concept: People stop feeling like victims of the challenging events in their lives only when they are finally able to say " I Thank God" for these circumstances.
As the universe would have it, in the beginning, many who sought out John's help had experienced sexual assualt. Thus, he ended up consulting with a plethora of women who had experienced rape. One by one, he assisted them to honor the "perfection" in the experience. He watched the tears of gratitude swell in their eyes as each woman reached the point of saying, "Thank God I was Raped."
This insight led John to understand deeply that the underlying concept of finding the Perfection in all that we experience is the greatest wisdom we can have and the greatest skill we can share. This was the genesis of the story, Thank God I Was Raped, from which, in turn, initiated the Thank God I...®book series.
During this time, John's mom, his best friend, transitioned at age 56. John, having studied this work for a decade already, took this time to challenge himself to practice what he was preaching. For the first week John experienced the “normal” torturous emotional challenges (he wanted his mommy back). After a week, John made a miraculous conscious discovery in pursuing the perfection in his mom’s passing. John realized he was the sole determinant of what his mom’s life and death meant. He already knew that energy and matter could not be created or destroyed, and neither could we.
Even though he did experience successive waives of emotions for the next couple of months, John became clear on exactly how to honor his mom’s transformation, He honored her life and death, and wrote his story, Thank God My Mom Died. Essentially John's bond with his mom has grown stronger and stronger in her transition.
It was John’s realization that collecting inspiring stories about people’s transformations through challenging circumstances would immeasurably help twice over, not only to the people who reached an epiphany through telling their stories and getting to a place of gratitude, but also to the countless other people who would read these stories in the Thank God I…®series.
He realized that one incredible value of the Thank God I...® series was that anyone—regardless of their life challenges, be it rape, death, or some other turning point—can learn from these inspiring stories. John’s professional background and inspiration stirred this mission to bring the message of Imperfectology®, Higher Mind Activation®, as well as The Perfect Idea® and The Perfect Solution® to every person on the planet.
As a result, the inspiring and heart-opening Thank God I...®movement, focusing on a message of gratitude was born. The Thank God I...® Book Series, Imperfectology® Education and the Online Community of Inspiration, is a sanctuary for discovering magical and miraculous healing of the heart and the soul.
