THANK GOD I...® SUBMISSION GUIDELINES as easy as 1-2-3

Thank you for your interest to share in the Thank God I...® book series. If you wish to submit material for consideration, please read carefully the information below. These guidelines have been updated as of June 2009.

Our Focus
You will see a comprehensive—but not complete—list of stories we’re looking to publish in our Writer’s Application. To get better acquainted with the types of stories we publish, you may wish to browse one of our current Thank God I...® volumes located in the Bookstore section of this website.

Step 1: Apply For Publishing
You begin the Publishing Process by applying to have your story reviewed. There are two submissions options. If you’d like your story available for feedback, reviews and comments; then submit your story online in the forum "Share Your Story" under the Forums menu link in the main menu. If you would like to have your story reviewed for publication as well, please just indicate that by adding this statement to the end of your story: Yes, please review my story for publication. (NOTE: you will need to register and login to our site to share online and your story will be available for viewing on the ThankGodI.com website by other registered members.) If you’d like to keep your submission private, you may send us your story completing the full "Writer's Application". Only the Thank God I...® Team will see this submission. Effective June 1, 2009, we are no longer accepting e-mail or hard-copy submissions.

Step 2: Contributing Writer Interview
All story submissions are reviewed by theThank God I...® Team for publishing. If there is an interest in your story, you will be contacted to schedule a Potential Contributor Interview so we have a chance to hear your story and get to know you better. If you don’t hear from us right away, it doesn’t mean there isn’t an interest. Publishing deadlines sometimes force us to focus on specific submissions.

Step 3: Acceptance
Accepted contributors will be notified via e-mail and provided a Publishing Contract, Acceptance Form, and Story Guidelines. Your signed original contract and acceptance form will secure your place in an upcoming Thank God I...® title. You will then be introduced to your Book Manager and begin writing your rough draft. Rough drafts are due within 30 days of acceptance.
